Zipp's ImPress graphics technology prints graphics directly onto the wheel to allow the rims to do what they were designed to do, this results in better stability.

SawTooth is Zipp's NSW's patented variable 53.58mm rims. It has been developed using biomimicry, the rigorous development process saw wind tunnel, CFD and real-world testing. The result is a rim shape based on natures most elegant design solutions alongside engineering precision that performs like no wheel made before. It is game-changing. No wheel before has been able to simultaneously reduce drag and side force. With the help of fin-shaped Hyperfoil nodes along the inner diameter to the rim that works with HexFin ABLC dimples, there is an improved airflow with both aero-drag reduction and reduced side force at all wind yaw angles.

Zipp's TSE Technology (Total System Efficiency) approaches carbon wheel manufacturing in a way that means the precise rim layup performs faster. Faster because it is lighter, has less rolling resistance, less wind resistance and less loss of energy due to vibrations.

Cognition's Axial Clutch Technology reduces drag by disengaging the hub ratchet mechanism when coasting. Less internal hub drag means a rider loses speed slower when freewheeling. The Axial Clutch mechanism uses magnets, rather than steel springs to move and engage the ratches with unmatched reliability and consistent performance. There are 36 points of engagement that all interlock simultaneously. The result? The most secure freehub mechanism on the market.

***Schwalbe TLE tires are currently marked with minimum tire pressure above 73psi (5 bar). Schwalbe has confirmed that their listed tires can be ridden at pressures under 73psi (5 bar) on Zipp hookless rims, according to their current testing.
