The Details
MET's Rivale MIPS road helmet has had a make over to give road cyclists superior performance at a great price - safer, more comfortable, more efficient.
The design of the Rivale gives you an aggressive presence on the road. The upgrade features MIPS technology which gives it at least 10% extra safety compared to the construction of standard helmets in the case of certain impacts.
MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached inside the helmet, between the comfort padding and the EPS, the Downtown is able to slide relative to the head in the case of a crash, redirecting damaging rotational motion.
The Rivale is certainly a product which lives up to METS's mission which began more than 30 years ago ie to create iconic designs that inspire confidence and and enhance the experience of cycling.
