The Details
The all new MET Valeno bike helmet with MIPS is one of the most versatile in the MET range, thanks to a variety of features.
Naturally born for MTB the Valeno has a sporty design, and easily adapts to tarmac and gravel roads. It is a helmet which is secure and protective on the trail, but is also light and ventilated so perfect for long bike packing rides on or off-road too.
Minimal removable visor with invisible anchor clips that keep the design clean and stylish in both modes.
Featuring the MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) attached inside the helmet, between the comfort padding and the EPS, the Downtown is able to slide relative to the head in the case of a crash, redirecting damaging rotational motion. MIPS is engineered to add at least 10% extra safety to the standard construction of helmets in case of certain impacts.
