The Details
The carbon composite construction of the Riot+ has been specifically designed to ensureincredible power transfer at a remarkably low weight. The composite bathtub style construction of the chassis has been strengthened with the inclusion of carbon across high-stress areas. The carbonissandwiched between layers of fibreglass to maximise strength while also enhancing long-term durability.
Thanks tothecombination of the single-dial BOA L6 Fit System with a hook-and-loop Velcro strap on the forefoot, you canget a comfortable fit and make minor adjustments on the go. The closures have been configured to distribute pressure evenly across the foot, minimising 'hot spots.' This precise level of fit perfectly complements the heat-mouldable upper.
Overpronation is one of the main contributors to incorrect tracking of knees during a cyclist's pedalling phase - due to internal rotation of the tibia and femur. This can result in knee injuries. In addition, the rotation of the tibia/femur can cause the pelvis to tilt resulting in lower back strain. Structural medial longitudinal arch support is provided in the Riot+ to stop over pronation of feet. This is also supported by Bont Cycling’s lateral forefoot support.
Our Verdict
Combining heat-mouldable technology, a single-dial BOA L6 Fit System and unique cycling-specific ergonomics, the Bont Cycling Riot+ is the ultimate choice when it comes to cycling comfort and pure performance.

Footwear Size Guide
Purchasing a pair of cycling shoes for the first time can lead to a lot of questions. We at Rutland Cycling have over 30 years of shoe fitting experience, so here are some key pointers to look out for when buying a new pair:
1. When deciding what size cycling shoes to get, go with your normal shoe size, as cycling shoes typically run true to size. However, if you’re normally between sizes, for example sometimes you go with a 9 and sometimes a 9.5, it’s recommended that you size up.
2. The best time to measure your feet, or to try shoes on is in the afternoon, as this is when they will be at their largest due to your feet naturally tending to swell throughout the day.
3. Cycling shoes are intended to wrap snuggly around the foot as they have been designed with a specific purpose in mind—pedaling. The goal is to try and provide as much lower leg and arch stability as possible and provide you with a stable pedaling platform.
4. With the cycling industry largely originating in Europe, European sizing is the typical standard. The best way to figure out a specific brand size is use a that brand’s conversion chart. However, below is general sizing conversion chart based off conventional UK shoe sizing.
