Specialized have made sure that those riders in the metal camp won't be disappointed by using an advanced alloy frame as the basis for the Stumpjumper Comp Alloy. The Compy Alloy provides the perfect balance of performance, value and durability.
This high spec MTB alloy frame is at the top of its game. Integrated with this is the symmetrical design, brand new geometry and refined kinematics which mean you can be ready to hit the trail.
This Stumpjumper Alloy Comp re-design blends Progressive Geometry - a long, low and slack and has a fork with short offset with a steeper seat tube angle.
One of Specialized's goals during the design of the Stumpjumper was "The Trail Benchmark". A goal to excel on all kinds of trails. In pursuit of this goal, the Stumpjumper underwent serious weight reduction but it is still a durable and stiff frame that is also responsive.
