The playful character of the Focus Thron 6.8 EQP has an agile geometry to inspire confidence, control and comfort while you tackle technical trails or flow rides.
The Thron 6.8 EQP is a fully equipped bike and comes with a full mudguard and rack set up, and front and rear lights so you can be ready to ride. The Thron EQP is ideal for multi-purpose cycling, family journeys, commuting and everything in between - take it for a spin and have some fun!
The low weight of the Focus Thron allows it to fly up any mountain, and do so in style. The 7005 hydroformed aluminium frame provides an optimised stiffness-to-weight ratio; superbly light to bring the weight right down and ensure no power is wasted, whilst stiff enough to guarantee efficient energy transfer.
The Thron has a new updated F.O.L.D suspension system featuring a single pivot design and linkage-activated rear shock. The integrated C.I.S. cable routing keeps things neat and ensures seamless shifting and braking. Add to that there is an integrated tool bag for your cycling essentials. There's also the capacity to add a bottle cage if you are going on long adventurous trails.
With 29 inch wheels, you can enjoy super-fast riding and roll over obstacles with ease. The 130mm Chassis, and SR Suntour suspension elements soak up bumps in the trail, keeping you comfortable and able to tackle tougher obstacles while the bike does the hard work for you.
The specially designed developed integrated C.I.S. cable routing keep thing neat and ensures seamless shifting and braking. Add to that there is an integrated tool bag for your cycling essentials.
The Focus Thron has Shimano brakes that provide the reliable stopping power and great modulation in all weather and all riding conditions.

The Focus Optimised Linkage Design, or FOLD for short, is optimized for more progression. Utilising ‘two-phase kinematics’ Focus has managed to create a rear suspension that is both degressive in the first phase and progressive in the second phase. The regressive phase is extremely responsive to the smallest of bumps, with a marked increase in traction as a result. The second progressive phase provides sufficient control needed for larger impacts and prevents bottom outs and rim damage. Control is guaranteed with FOLD.
