The all new Wahoo Kickr has just landed. This direct drive turbo trainer from Wahoo builds on the outstanding performance of their previous Kickr trainer, with the addition of WiFi connectivity to allow easy installation and automatic updates, so you can focus more on your training and less on connecting. The new Kickr still features ANT+ and Bluetooth to allow connection to smartphones, GPS devices and FE-C enabled devices or apps.
The Wahoo Kickr trainer provides active feedback to the user with a 5 degree float which allows the unit to move with the rider providing a more natural ride feel. This feature allows you to ride more naturally; therefore reducing fatigue and allowing you to train for longer, and in a more natural environment. The Kickr tracks your power to within a 1% margin of accuracy, which gives a fantastically accurate training experience. Plus, the high inertia flywheel features what Wahoo refer to as 'progressive algorithms' to again better replicate a 'real' and more natural ride feel.
The Kickr syncs with your chosen apps or training software, and allows you to adjust the incline of your training ride by up to 20%, giving you full control over your workout.
The construction of the Wahoo Kickr turbo trainer is designed to offer excellent durability and a maximum power output of 2,200 watts which means you can be confident putting the power down year after year. Plus the Kickr has been engineered to be as silent as possible, so you can train whenever and wherever you need to. The convenience of this trainer doesn't end there though, because the Kickr includes a pre-fitted 11speed cassette, carry handle and varying axle compatibilities, so you can train with ease.
