Bike-specific navigation ensures that you will never get lost, whilst a routing feature allows you to create courses through the Garmin Connect app, Strava, Komoot, Wikiloc and more, and sync to your Edge in an instant. The Garmin also comes preloaded with cycle maps so that riders can view popular roads and trails, high-traffic areas and potential points of interest.
Garmin have also equipped the bike computer with incident detection which sends a message with your location to preloaded emergency contacts if it detects an incident. Meanwhile, a bike alarm feature notifies you on your paired smartphone if your bike is moved while you’re grabbing some snacks from a shop or stopping at a café.
The bike computer will also allow you to get the best out of your training by showing live data, such as speed, distance, time and elevation, on the screen as you ride. Furthermore, its compatible with power meters, heart rate monitors and many other Garmin accessories. On top of that, you can also pair your Garmin to your smartphone, allowing you to receive messages and calls whilst riding.
