The Details
The Ortlieb Seat-Pack is a true hardcore bikepackers saddle pack, boasting a massive 16.5L of additional storage and a waterproof fabric construction meaning that there's plenty of space for your clothes and belongings and that they'll always be dry. The Seat-Pack is also adaptable, as Ortleib know you wont always need to utilise all 16.5 litres, so the bag has been designed with a roll closure on the side that can be used to adjust the volume.
The Seat-Pack is fixed to your seatpost using velcro straps which make the bag quick and easy to install and thanks to the large size of the bag it also functions as a rear mudguard! There's even elastic drawstrings on the top of the bag for storing extra items like a water bottle incase 16.5L ins't quite enough for you or if you want quick access to certain items.
Furthermore, the Seat-Pack can even function as a backpack which is ideal for use on rest days or trips to the shop. Ortlieb have also fitted 3M Scotchlite reflectors which can be used at full extension, and a vertical daisy chain which can be attached to a rear light.

There’s some very nice touches. The push pull air-release valve is very neat, and makes packing the bag all the more fluid. Its dual strap system and interior armature design does a solid job of stabilizing the load, especially from a sag standpoint
