Featuring the same positive dual-sided entry and release as Shimano's more expensive pedals, it's hard to tell the M520s apart from even XT and XTR level pedals - aside from the extra weight. This entry mechanism also features a tuneable tension release to provide the perfect riding experience without hampering performance.
At 380g the Shimano M520 SPD Pedals are a decent set of pedals for the money and although not one of the best looking pedals, they still look smart when mounted to most bikes and are available in Black, White and Silver to match any colour scheme.
This excellent build quality and performance makes the M520 SPD Pedals one of Shimano's best sellers and can be found mounted on anything from a full suspension mountain bike to a touring bike and everything in-between.
