SPD SH-51 single release cleats, these cleats are recommended for all MTB SPD pedals except the PD M858. Simply twist your heel to unclip your foot. Using cleats allows you to have a smoother pedal motion and therefore better power transfer.
Note: These do not come with a cleat nut
