The inner mushroom portion is superbly comfy offering a little more cushioning between forefinger and thumb than you might find with regular grips..
The pattern is like a mash-up of all my favorite grips over the years, and it works extremely well. It's the inner ribbed portion that really puts the Deathgrips on top when it comes to comfort, especially if you're spending a lot of time on rough descents..
And boy does this grip work! You instantly feel more in control and confident on the bike. Even in heavy rain the ribbed section manages to squeeze out the water and enables the strongest part of your hand to keep clinging on. .
