Rapid and precise, the SRAM X5 Rear Mech offers smooth and reliable transmission for high-performance riders. Direct route technology also provides riders with lighter shifting, making it easier to skip between gears.
The rear derailleur features 1:1 technology which means that the derailleur moves by the same amount for each unit of cable pulled. This remains consistent through mud, sand, rocks and dry trails so that shifting performance never deteriorates.
Sram have also developed the rear mech with exact actuaction which simplifies and stabilises the balancing of the rear derailleur hanger, tight cog spacing and exact cable tension to make bike maintenance easier.
