The Details
High-performance HG-EV 11 speed 105 road cassette for super-narrow 11-speed HG-X chains. The hyperglide EV sprockets have a computer designed tooth configuration with contoured shift gates. This gives you crisp smooth shifting even under load. The sprockets have been cut away and drilled to reduce weight even further without reducing rigidity, whilst the nickel-plated finish offers hard wearing resistance to corrosion.
The sprockets have been carefully chosen by the scientists at Shimano to give you a large enough spread of gears whilst keeping the ratios close together to allow more efficient use of energy through finer cadence control. The cassette has a pearl bright steel lockring to protect against corrosion and keep it sparkling.
