The Details
The roughened, quick slick tread of the Continental Contact Reflex is especially at home on tarmac, offering safe and sporty lightweight puncture protection thanks to double SafetySystem puncture protection layer. With a durable casing and long-lasting tread for sports use, the puncture protection as a system for sporty riders with the SafetySystem Breaker consisting of Kevlar-reinforced, high-strength nylon fabric. Puncture and cut resistant, whilst also being light and flexible, allowing the tyre to adapt more effectively to the terrain.
The breaker protects the carcass against foreign objects and contributes to a longer lifespan of the tyre without significantly increasing weight or rolling resistance. Additionally, tyres with SafetySystem have particularly comfortable handling characteristics.
